Kenneth Rudolf joined the College of Law in 2002. As Director of the Law Library, he oversees a growing library of over 280,000 volumes in print and microform.
Prior to coming to the College of Law, Professor Rudolf was on the staff of the Lillian Goldman Law Library at Yale Law School for nearly 12 years, the last five as head of reference. His responsibilities at Yale included providing reference for both Anglo-American and Foreign/International collections, overseeing government documents, and serving on several committees and task forces. In addition, he lectured in several courses at Yale Law School.
Professor Rudolf earned his law and library science degrees at the University of Washington (Seattle). Before beginning the study of law, he also earned a Ph.D. in music history at the University of Washington and taught music at Walla Walla College in Washington state. As part of his dissertation study, Professor Rudolf received a Fulbright-Hayes Graduate Fellowship to the University of Vienna and spent a year doing research in Austria, Germany, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary.
