• Selection and implementation of DRA automated library system.Participation in the trainings and implementation of modules for cataloging, public access, circulation, serials, acquisitions and report writing.
  • Ongoing system support of DRA software running under VMS and Multinet on a VAX 3180.
  • Management of retrospective conversion of 65% of approximately 180,000 titles.
  • Generation and implementation of reports for all modules using Safari's UDMS report writer package.
  • Participation in campus automation, selection of LAN, microcomputer hard and software
  • Reference service for local as well as remote patrons using local as well as remote resources.
  • Descriptive cataloging, classification (L.C.) and subject analysis (LCSH) of all library materials in the various OCLC formats.
  • Assistance in maintenance and conversion of 280,000 volume collection.
  • Management of Automation Project: development of timeline, vendor review, RFP generation
  • Training librarians and interns in maintenance and use of serials unions lists online, ILL functions, record maintenance and creation on PRISM and FIRST(ILL,UNION LIST)in OCLC
  • Cogeneration (with staff) of procedures and policies for circulation, acquisitions, serials control, cataloging, catalog maintenance and report generation.
  • Design and implementation of barcode project to apply barcodes to nearly 140,000 titles in the collection.
  • Train and assist users of CD-ROM databases and DRA automated systems.
  • Participate as member of TAG(Technology Advisory Group) and WAG(Web Advisory Group) at the Seminary.
