Computers in Education will explore the power and capability of computers, educational and productivity software, and Internet resources that have been increasing exponentially and represent a potentially revolutionary variable in education. A special emphasis will be placed on learning how to integrate computers into school practices through communication and learning activities that serve curriculum objectives and educational goals, and that can enhance learning for students. The focus of EDUC 407 is on helping the credential candidate and/or Liberal Studies students become more knowledgeable of effective teaching strategies, not simply computer literate, and to provide a learning context that interests, excites, and challenges candidates to think and talk about effective teaching practices.
